Test enrolled, trochospiral, chambers may be somewhat enveloping, and attached forms may uncoil in the adult; wall of perforate hyaline oblique calcite, appearing optically granular; aperture interiomarginal, extending from the periphery nearly to the umbilicus on the umbilical side or may extend up the apertural face as a high slit, becoming termi­nal and rounded in uncoiled forms. L. Creta­ceous (Barremian) to Holocene.
