Test small, elongate, fusiform to obovate, poles bluntly rounded, small globular proloculus followed by a few rapidly enlarging whorls, septa strongly fluted throughout length of test; wall very thin, of tectum and poorly developed diaphanotheca in the inner whorls and only a tectum in the outermost whorl, may have chomata in the earliest whorl, no axial fillings.
