  Integra Mining has received high-grade gold results from a 15-hole reverse circulation drilling program completed at the Maxwells gold deposit, part of the company’s Randalls Project, located 60km east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.The results, which included high-grade intercepts featuring peak grades of up to 78.23g/t Au, have confirmed the potential for an upgrade to the existing Maxwells resource (2.95 million tonnes at 4.0g/t Au for 376,000 contained ounces). The objective of the drilling program, completed at Maxwells in May, was to confirm the location and grade of gold mineralised banded iron formation (BIF) at the base of Integra’s current open pit design. The drill holes will provide material for gold recovery testwork and will supplement Integra’s gold recovery data from shallower portions of the deposit where recoveries have been in excess of 95 percent. Many of the new holes are the deepest drill holes on their respective sections. Integra said the overall grade of the gold intercepts received during this phase of drilling was higher, in some cases significantly higher, than the existing resource model for the Maxwells deposit. The company is currently working on a revised resource model that will incorporate the high-grade results from this recent drilling and further follow-up drilling to be undertaken shortly. The tenor of the Integra’s latest gold results demonstrates the potential for future underground production from the Maxwells deposit. According to the company, the high-grade gold mineralisation at the southern end of the Maxwells resource may extend south beyond the extent of current drilling and extensions will be tested with additional drilling in coming weeks.
