Reserve Evaluation of Mishdovan Iron Ore Deposit

For mine designing, ore quantity, quality and geometry should be determined properly. For this purpose, ore is modeled using exploration data. The block model is the best reference for ore reserve evaluation. The grade of each block is estimated from grade of samples. There are various methods to estimate grade of the blocks. In this study, with the help of exploration information of bore holes and trenches block model of Mishdovan deposit was constructed. Datamine Studio was employed in this investigation. On the basis of this study, in Mishdovan deposit, there is ۲۸.۱ million tones iron ore with an average grade of ۳۱.۶%. In this deposit, the grade of phosphor is rather high while the grade of sulfur is low.
