Structural controllers in emplacement of Khoshineh granite (North-East of Birjand)

Abstract


Some acidic magmatic intrusions have emplaced in open spaces with rhombohedra shape in northern part of Sistan suture zone. There is some compressional sinstral shear zones with east-west general trend that show with en-echelon pattern in this area. Koch compressional -sinstral shear zone in north-east of Birjand cut and create a brittle deformation zone in tertiary flysch facies in upper part of crust. Due to intersection of R & P fractures within the shear zones created rhombohedra shape fault blocks. The movement of R fractures produced open space with rhombohedra shape. The ratio between maximum diameters to minimum diameter of rhombohedra is 2.2:1 and the attitude of rhombohedra axis are N50E, 67. Rhombohedra and dyke form outcrops of Khoshineh granite show a unique source of magma and emplaced them by structural controlling in Koch compressional sinstral shear zone with N78W, 72NE.
