Abstract:
The Babol Rud basin is in center of MazandranProvince. The basin investigated covers in the survey of Iran; The basin investigated talls in the survey of Iran seven topo-maps NO 6563III, 6462(I,II), 6562(I,II,III,IV). The latitudinal and longitudinal extent of the basin talls between 36°,00 and 36°, 45'N to 52°,20' and 52°,55'E.
Quantitative & qualitative analysis of morphometric variables such as number of segments (Nu), length of the segments (Lu), area (Au), lenth of the basin (L), circularity ratio (Rc), Elongation Ratio (Re), Laminascate (K), Density (D), Frequency (F), Texture (T), Texture Ratio (Tu), Dissection Index (DI), Relative Relief (RR), Relief Ratio (Rh), Ruggedness Number (Rn) and Gradient (G) reveals that the best located in the basin for Agriculture, Industrial, Civil, Urban & Rural development are give in area percentages.
