Abstract
In this paper, the relationships between durability and strength properties of igneous rocks at Shaheed Rajaee breakwater in order to mean grains are studied. For this purpose, all of used igneous rocks in different levels and parts of breakwater including Rhyolite, Dacite and Tuff were sampled. Then the petrographical characteristics, strength and durability properties of samples were determined by microscopic studies and laboratory tests. This study shows that the mean grains most effect for durability and strength properties at rocks and one more important and better parameter for show strength and durability's rock and for reduce grain size is increasing strength and durability's rock.
