The study of Some Upper Oligocen-Lower Miocene Corals of southern of Sirjan

To study the oligo-miocene deposits in south of sirjan ,three suitable sections, khavich, chah ghale and bagat have been logged and sampled.All three sections consist of reefal limestone and have a high divers of corals .The corals belong to 8 families.The study of corals and associated microfossils show that studid sequences belong to uppermost part of Qom formation and are late Oligocene to Burdigalian in age.Recoverd corals are show that studid area were located at the margin of oligo-miocene sea and had at ropical environment .
