abstract

During recent decades, increasing the population of cities in Iran is observed. The increase is due to two factors of city population growth as well as the emigration of village and town population to medium and large cities. The centralization of population in the cities has made that need to services increasingly enhances. In servicing to the cities , enhancement of server center is not the cause of better service; rather what is important in this field is appropriate distribution of these centers. One of the serving centers which determine welfare of residenty is medical centers. There fore allocate location of medical centers and optimized distribution of them is so important in such a way that they affect rising the level of residents welfare and their health. The relay research. Using index overlay in GIS, a model created foe allocate location medical serving centers, that applied upon mahabad city is going to appraisement existing condition and allocate location new is medical serving centers.
