Alamkandi lead and zinc mine is lokated 6 km far from south of Alamkandi village of Mahneshan area. Geriissy & amphibolitic rocks and marble outcrops can be observed in this mine. Ore mineralizatin has been taken place in contact of marble and other rocks in faults, joints and fracture zones. Galena and sphalerite are the major lead and zinc bearing minerals in this mine. Other ore minerals of this deposit are as follows: hemimorfite, cerussite, smithsonite, malachite, Pyrite, chalcopyrite, coveline and tetrahedrite. Fe-hydroxides such as gothite, lepidocrosite and... are the ieathering and alteration products. In this paper we are presenting our new findings in relation to ore mineralization and petrogenesis of Alamkandi deposit
