Exploration geochemistry and geology of Kuh-e-zar gold mineralization area in Torbat-e Heydarye

     35 Km west — northwest of Torbat —e — Hcydaryc city 5 Km south of Fadihe village is located Kuh —e — zar area in Korasan pruvince. This erea as a part in Taknar zone which is a part of central — east microplat of Iran. The erea is composed of two main rock units,1 ) Focene pyroclastic — volcanic tocks,2 ) Hypabyssal – Subvolcanic Granitoid rocks. The most important kind of mineralization is vain and vainlet mineralization which is controled by faults in the erea. Maour minerals in mineralization zone are Quartze and Spicularite the amount of sulfids minerals is low. hydrothermal altration contain Chioritization. Silicification and Argilic (in low amount )
. The avrage grade of gold is ppm 3-6. The effects of ancient mining activities are; slage, mills, etc that demonstrate the importance of this erea in the past. Geochemical exploration studies resulted in anomalies of Au,Ag,Pb,Zn,Cu,As,Sb,Bi,Mo,W,V,Ba,Cd,Co,Ni,Cr. Gold is significantly correlated with Zn,Ph.As,Mo,Cd
