     The study area is situated in 20 Km NE of Tabriz. There are several
subvolcanic domes which their composition vary from rhyolite to dacite . These domes have intruded into elastic and evaporitic sediments of miocene. A weak mineralization has occurred near these subvolcanic domes. The ore minerals have occurred in two ways: open space filling and dessiminated. This mineralization has been caused by hydrothermal solution derived from the subvolcanic domes The presence o{dark brown biotite and homblend shows a high Fe content in the parent magma .Magmatic and hydrothermal processes may in some cases form similar deposits Based on Field observation and comparsion with
various depositsihe khajch deposit is considered to he of hydrothermairather than magmatic on gin
