Field geoloical analysis reveals the Ophiolitic complex Rocks of North Nain , comprises a complete ophiolitic scquenc ,including all Rocks units.
The rocks are hartzborgite and include sandy plagic Laimestone, radiolarite , pub wlava and masive Basalt, sheeted dikes
,plagiogranite, gabbro and peridotite. Andsetic basalt ,andsite ,plaioranite dikes.quatz dolorite ,hornblend gabbro ,and siliceoes shales are also present ,reflecting a satureated toliate Magma.
Based on geochemical data, sourse rock partial melting was high digree (more than 15%) and produced magma was oxidized. these rocks have no similarity with mid-oceanic ridge Basalt based on magor, minor and rare earth element.
