Spinel and clinopyroxene microprobe data, a method for tecnomagnetic setting analysis of Kermanshah basalts

     The main problem in relation to interpretation of Kermanshah Sub-alkaline basalt group is that advocates of two general hypothesis of IAB and OFB can present some reasons for defending their hypothesis. In this relation, there is another
geochemical method wich can help to determination of basalts origin is using of spinel and pyroxene microprohe analysis data. The analysed cl inopyroxenes are belong to Gaveh—rud hasalts. In summary. these data associated with major element data of basalt showing that these hasalts have relatively alkaline nature ( Compared with Kermanshah Sub—alkaline basalt). In this case, also are volcanism is rejected. Spinel microprobe data of Kamyaran basalts are indicated of MORB tectono—magmatic setting. Chemical composition of melt inclusions in basalts is similar to alkaline basalt composition. In any case. for presenting a strong interpretation we needs to more exact analysis data.
