   General:
Based on the geological structure of Tush kuh region tectonical origin of Plio-quaternary volcanism in the region has been studied in two time period : before and after volcanic activities
Investingations show that the region was affected by compressive forces whit NE— SW direction .prior to the volcanic activities How ever . there are some faults and fractures in Plio—quaternary volcaniclastic deposits which are due to extensive forces Formation of normal faults extensive fracturing and starting of volcanic activity may he the resualts of extensive forces effect due to ceasing of compressive forces, or a strong heat flow together whit expansion of Farth.s crust
