Microfacies Analysis, Sedimentary Environment And Diagenetic Processes In Sarvak Formation (Pelagic At The MOKHTAR Section

   General:
     The Asmary Formation has top position in producing Hydrocarbon reserves followed by Sarvak Formation Which is located in Zagross basin, Lurestan, Khuzestan and Fars provinces..
In order to study Microfacies, Diagenetic processes and Reconstruction of Depositional Model was selected a subsurface Section selected in the Mokhtar Area.
Based on studies 19 Microfacies are distinguished and Microfacias analysis led to the recognation of 4 Sbu-Environnients including Open Marian, Barrier, Lagoon and Tidal flat.
Based on studies , Sarvak formation has been deposited in an Epicontinental plateform that it’s getting deeper from beach of the center of basin.
In addition , different diagenetic processes such as cementation related to marine phreatic environments vadose environment phreatic environment , mixing zone environment and burial environment accompanied by neomorphism , bioturbation chemical compaction and physical compaction has been effected on this formation.
