Abstract:
Celestite mineralization is known from 34 km Northwest of Behbahan city and 3 km southeast of Likak city , close to the village of Ghabr-e ? Gheysar in Kohgiloye ? va ? BoyerAhmadProvince . Fluid inclusions in the deposit can be classified into five groups : liquid monophase types (L) , liquid ? rich types (L+V) , vapor ? rich types (V+L) , liquid + Daughter mineral types (L+S) , and liquid + vapor + Daughter mineral types ( L+V+S) . Study of fluid inclusions shows that liquid monophase inclusions are the most abundant type , and hence deposition of celestite has taken place at low temperatures . The last ice melting points of inclusions vary between -60c and -200c corresponding to salinities from 9.22 to 22.66 wt% NaCl equivalents . The total density of liquid phase of fluid inclusions is calculated to be 1.125 gr/cm3.
