Abstract:
The studied area is located in East of Tafresh (Markazi province) in Orumieh-Dokhtar volcanic belt. The Oligo-Miocene plutonic rocks have intruded to Eocene volcanic rocks with interlayering limestone.
The composition of intrusive rocks is granite to tonalite. They have made hydrothermal alteration and contact metamorphism in country rocks. Chlorite, calcite, epidotic and actinolite are common minerals in this hydrothermal alteration. Polymineralic and monomineralic skarns were produced in contact metamorphysm of pluton. Clinopyroxene, garnet (andradite), actinolite, sphene, epidote (pistacite), calcite and hematite are mineral assemblage of skarn. Epidotite and gronatite are monomineralic skarn in this area. Investigation the effect of intrusive rocks and their hydrothermal fluids in country rocks is the main aim in this paper.
