Abstract:
Rudists as one of the reef components in cretaceous period encompass the large hydrocarbon reservoirs. Sarvak formation in Iran contain very high quantity of rudist debris. The present study is concentrated on Sarvak reservoir of Ab-Teymur oil field. It indicates that Sarvak reservoir contain one rudist-bearing facies in central and north-western parts and two rudist-bearing in south-eastern of field. The thickness of the rudist facies increases from the edge towards the center. The reservoir quality of the rudist-bearing horizons is well in the south-western part on the basis of three parameters: porosity, permeability and water saturation. In the other parts, its quality is reduced.
