   Abstract:
Considering the role of databases in Preser Vation, restoration and Presentation of information, database architecture is a Principal Subject, gis-based databases include digitized mapping information which Store Spatial and thematic data.
Data accordance is the main facter for presentation, analysis and processing map datawithin the databases. Behind the importance of geometrical and graphical methods used in map prepration classifying, coding and linking digitized maps attributes to thematic information are more implicative objectives. So Standardizing map data is needed to datamodel for futnre appropriate. Map prepration and revierring available maps.
Each map illustrates geosputial features which are classified in to point, line or area. This procedure leads to saving geospatial data in digital computerized codes.
More detailed map, more complicated data model. Scientific Value of digital map is related to Comorehensiveness of information of features and their illustration as well as link to prabable thematic information.
Geological maps consists of some data layers, rock unit, Stream, fanlt and else. Each one with speafied attributed which should be characterized by regular Coding System.
