The seismic deformation evolution of strike-slip fault zones (Eslami 2005) indicates a process called "Migration of Fault Segments" through which the activity of some fault segments is shifted to other fault segments. There are two main stages of this migration with different rates: primary and secondary. The process faces totally toward location of along-strike linkage of fault segments. This fault migration arises from fault propagation. Moreover, ending the migration is equal to ending the fault segmentation in strike-slip fault zone.
