Abstract:
The studied area is located in northwest of Ahar (east Azarbaijan) where is in turn located in Alborz ?Azarbaijan metalogenic belt. The intrusion of Oligocene (Sheyvar-Dagh) caused the development of skarn and hornfels aureoles and Cu-Mo mineralization at contact with Cretaceous limestones and shales that this intrusion belongs to met-aluminous and I type.Based upon field works and petrographic studies, two skarn zones were recognized, Endoskarn and Exoskarn.Cu-Mo mineralization was principally developed during Endoskan.For the determine original rock has used two variant diagrams Zand-Abad granite elements versus altered rocks.In this study,three geochemical methods were used. Al2O3 has chosen as immobile element.
Primary stage of mineralization were developed in Exoskarn(epidote skarn) and Endo skarn.
