After semi detail and detail exploration in a deposit, it is necessary to specify the geometry properties and 3D modeling of deposit.
The first step in estimation and ore deposit evaluation is using the exploration data such as drilling and excavation data for determining the shape and geometry distribution of reserve.
By this method we not only determine the volume of ore and space of estimation but also prepare the suit environment for feature make decision. For this purpose the geology and exploration data from surface and subsurface and match them with topography maps finally using the geology and mining experiences, were needed.
For making 3D model in Iljaq potash deposit, the analytical results of samples those have taken from boreholes and the geology log of them and also vertical sections those prepared by geologist were used. Then above data were matched with topography and geology maps. Finally by using above data and involve them in mining simulation software, the 3D model of reserve was prepared.
