Introduction to Saddle Dolomites At Pinavand FluoriteMines

   Abstract:
      In accompanying of fluorite mineral stage or some prior to, specific type of Epigenetic Dolomites have been extended which petrographically have three distinct fabrics: 1- Xenotopic saddle dolomites with oriented fabric as wall rock replacement. 2- Subhedral saddle dolomites with polygonal growth and curved margins. 3- Neomorphism saddle dolomites or recrystallized ones as open space filling in dolomitic host rocks. Paragenetically, first and second type of dolomites was due to Mg metasomatism in which fluorine-bearing mineralizing fluid let to replace limestone wall rock and to dolomitize it (Earl and Transition dolomites).Third type of dolomites likely related to Recrystallization of previous two type of dolomites and have different shape (Neomorphism) which have been intended as Late Saddle dolomites.
