Abstract:
Vishan-Tekieh deposit is located in Malayer-Esfahan metalogenic zone. The age sedimentary sequences are Lower Cretaceous and Quarternary. Facies analysis and petrography led to the recognition of 3 microfacies (mudstone, fossiliferous mudstone, bioclast foraminifer wackstone/ packstone).
Paleotemprature calculation indicates that temperature was about 44?C and diagenetic temprature was about 81?C. Ore mineral consists of smithsonite, sphalerite, galena, calamine, and pyrite. Minor mineral is quartz, calcite, dolomite and barite. Alteration consists of silicification, dolomitization and pyritization. Fabric, texture, host rock and field observations indicate epigenetic in origin for lead-zinc deposit. Vishan-Tekieh ore deposit formed by hydrothermal solution and it is similar with Mississipi Valley Type deposit.
General:
Vishan- Tekieh deposit is located in Malayer- Esfahan metalogeniczone. The age sedimentary sequences are Lower Cretaceous and Quarternary. Facies analysis and petrography led to the recognition of 3 microfacies (mudstone, fossiliferous mudstone, bioclast foraminifer wackstone/ packstone).
Paleotemprature calculation indicates that temperature was about 440C and diagenetic temperature was about 810C. Ore mineral consists of smithsonite, sphalerite, galeca, calamine, and pyrite. Minor mineral is quartz, calcite, dolomite and barite. Alteration consists of silicification, dolomitization and pyritization. Fabric, texture, host rock and field observations indicate epigenetic in origin for lead-zinc deposit. Vishan- Tekieh ore deposit formed by hydrothermal solution and it is similar with Mississipi Valley Type deposit.
