Abstract:
Mineralogy studies on the Kelardasht zircon anomaly was investigated for the first time. First, this zone was sampled, and then the sample was ground, prepared and divided to provide the thin sections. Using chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction and microscopy studies methods, elements, oxides and minerals have been identified. Scanning electronic microscopy has been performed. The results obtained from this study indicated that this sample contains zircon, fluorine, sphene, niobium minerals, titanium minerals, hematite, magnetite, pyroxenes, and feldspars.
