Abstract:
The Shahid Kazemi dam on the Zarrineh Rood River in Azarbayjan Sharghi province is constructed. It is located 85 km of southeast of Miandoab. This dam has been designed as an earth dam with clay core. The Shahid Kazemi dam has a crest earth of 730 m, a maximum height 48 meters, and a total capacity of 645 million m3. The mean discharge is 44m3/s.
Because of the sedimentation problem, it is necessary to study the volume of the sediment and the factors affecting the sedimentation.
This paper presents the mean annual sediment inflow using PSIAC model.
