Calculation of Granitoid Magmas Density in Mehman Area (SE Gharachaman-Eastern Azarbaijan

Abstract:
      The difference of density between the magma and the surrounding rocks controls different mechanisms of magmatic mass emplacement. There are many ways to determine the magma density and to calculate the magma density of granitoid masses of Mehman area; we use the method of determination of oxides partial molar volume. The calculated density is 2.39 gr/cm3 for rocks of A group and 2.33 gr/cm3 for the rocks of B group.

   General:
