Abstract:
In southwest of Khansar city which is part of Sanandaj-Sirjan zone, there are a complex of metamorphic and igneous rocks which show the obvious effects related to metmorphic and deformation phases. Older rocks, specialy amphibolites indicate ductile fabrics such as shear bands, mica fish and sigma prophyroclasts. Younger rocks, granitoid bodies have low deformation fabrics such as andolus distinct. On the other side, there are in the granitoids both high strain zone and low strain zone that could be separated obviously.
