   Abstract:
      Hezar volcanic complex is situated in Kerman province and Uroomieh-Dokhtar volcanic belt. This complex includes extensive volume of pyroclastic rocks and minor proportions of andesite-basalt lavas. According to the field evidences, this complex has been produced in continental environment with local shallow lakes. In genetic classifications these rocks belong to the groups of pumice and lithic flow, ash flow tuffs, base surge and pheratoplinian fall pyroclastic deposits. Therefore Hezar complex has been formed by highly explosive hydrovolcanic eruptions.
