Abstract:
Studied granitoidic body mostly granodiorite and tonalite in composition is closed to Kouh-e-Mish sub-volcanic mass, which is mainly microdiorite in composition. The Interpretation of why enclave and xenolith exist in granitoid mass of southern Sabzevar close to Kouh-e-Misch, sub-volcanic body. Existing enclaves so big as hundreds of cm, with irregular edges could be seen, as mafic patches in some parts of the mass. Pink rich feldspar patches could be seen; nearly in the center of the body. Micro-dioritic enclaves are host-rock fragments in granitoides. But high scale enclaves with more basic composition, as big as meters in size, consists of higher amount of mafic minerals, probably co-existing with K-feldspar patches, are different parts of a fractionation of source mantle magma and large scale intrusions within granitoides. In this case with the help of Romberg's model. These intrusions could be taken as parts of heavy weight materials of magma due to crystal fractionation which rising-up (by) light residual liquids.
