Two-dimensional modeling and interpretation of Resistivity and Induced polarization data (Payandeh index)

Abstract:
      Exploration geophysics is one of the indirect methods for mineral exploration which is turn includes several methods. Among these methods, induced polarization (IP) and resistivity (RS) are the best for disseminated metalic deposits. In this study it is shown how Two-dimensional inverse modeling technique is used for interpretation of IP and RS data of along a profile.
   The results of such interpretation for Payandeh index (in Kerman province) show that there is one zone of Cu mineralization at a depth of about 40 meters.
