Abstract:
One of the most important characteristics of Landsat TM satellite is the remarkable increase in spatial resolution and variance of the information provided by bonds. This characteristic helps us to identify different phenomena, using of pictures taken from Landsat TM satellite. In this study, TM pictures were used in the discovery of minerals and stones. It is concluded that improving the contrast and spectral and spatial transformation of this pictures, is suitable for preparation of surface geological
maps and identification of minerals and stone.
