Using of Defoliant and Crosta Techniques for Detection Listvenitic Alteration Type Bearing Gold in Ophiolitic Melange of South khorasan

Abstract:
      Listvenite is silica ? carbonatic complex in serpentine ultrabasic host rocks, and is important especially brecciated arsenic ? sulfide silsic veins in this rock by reason of gold exploration. That is widespread in the south of Khorasan province.
   This paper discusses how to use image processing methods, especially used software defoliant technique and Crosta technique that depended on multivariate statistics to enhance and extraction image information for listvenite hydrothermal alteration mapping.
