Abstract:
One of effective methods for studding groundwater resources is using numerical models. Available information in Karvan basin are including amount of consumption from production wells and amount of recharges ( returned agricultural water consumption and precipitation ) for a period of 10 years starting from 1364 to 1374 and hydrodynamic coefficients S & K. pumping test has been done in two points Karvan plain. Due to the large extension of the Karvan plain and shortage in hydrodynamic data, the entire plain has been divided into 5 distinct regions which can get different hydrodynamic parameters. Then groundwater model has been calculated for 10 years period between years 1364 to 1374. By using inversion modeling water table in observatory wells and water table that calculated by model has been compared. Difference between model response and observatory data has been minimized and hydrodynamic coefficients for 5 zones has been calculated.
