Abstract:
      The aim of this research was the investigation of calamine calcination of oxidized zone of Angouran lead and zinc mine. The obtained results using quantitative and qualitative analysis showed that the optimum conditions were obtained at a temperature of 800 ?C for one hour . carbonated minerals such as smithsonite, calcite and dolomite were converted to oxidized compounds. Hemimorphite due to dehydration and dehydroxylation was converted to willemite. In addition zinc oxide was reacted with hematite and produced zinc ferrite.
