ORIGIN AND EVOLUTION OF TALAB-E-ANZALLIN SOUTH WEST OF CASPIAN SEA

Abstract:
      Recent investigation in Talab-E-Anzali Region based on the results of shells, clays, type of sediments and archaeology in several holes up to 4m depth indicate country to previous investigations TALAB-E-ANZALI REGION was neither merely influenced by growth and shift of barriers, due to the Caspian Sea level change, nor a Anzali- Gulf All field evidences feet with an old stage of modern NILE type river (type 4 of Coleman & Wright 1975) which in the early stage extended from Hashtpar-Rud in the west to Lang-e-Rud to the east of Rasht City.
