Abstract:
      In this research, coral fossils from lower carboniferous deposits of member A of Gachal formation, was studied, that is located in Rahdar mountains in the east of central Iran. 16 genera (14 genera belongs to rugosa and 2 genera belongs to tabulata), 29 species and 4 subspecies were distinguished that shows Tournaisian age for this section. These fossils were compaired with other places in Iran and the world and were found biogeographical relationship between these places in Tournaisian age. Eastern border of Mediterranian province was found in this area.

General:
