   Abstract:
In order to study plant macrofossils of Cenozoic Era, Arangeh (central Alborz) with Middle Eocene age and Dasht-e-Moghan with Upper Eocene ? Lower Miocene age, were studied. During this studies some fossils of Pteridophyta group consists of Sphenophyta and probably Lycophyta and Angiosperms group consists of monocotyledons plants and pinnuls of Myrtaceae family and reproductive organs, both of Dicotyledons group were reported. Finally with due attention to abundant presence of Sphenophyta and probably Lycophyta, depositional environment of Arangeh region, has been a marshy ? swampy (full of water) environment and with due attention to presence of members of Myrtaceae family, the warm and rainy climate and coastal environment is predictable for studied area in Dasht-e-Moghan.
