Focal mechanism of 22 June 2002 Changoreh- AvajEarthquake using strong ground motion data

   Abstract:
      The causative fault parameters of Changoreh- Avaj earthquake has been estimated using the strong ground motion data recorded by Iranian strong ground motion network. To estimate these parameters SH- waves has been analyzed. Strike, dip and rake for the causative fault have been estimated by compression of observed and calculated amplitude of SH- waves as, 118, 52 and 82 respectively. The focal mechanism of this earthquake is reverse similar to the 1962 Buin- Zahra earthquake.
