Indonesian project potentially company-making
Emperor Mines has reported highly encouraging gold-silver assays from its Tujuh Bukit Project in Indonesia, with early drill results confirming the geometry and scale of a new gold-silver cap overlaying a significant copper-gold system.Emperor Chief Executive Officer, Brad Gordon said the results had the potential to deliver a company-making project. “These encouraging results have made us look forward to future drilling with much anticipation, while continuing a systematic process of exploring the untapped potential of the Tujuh Bukit property,” Mr Gordon said. “We are excited that the drilling is suggesting the existence of a system which is similar in style to the Tampakan project in the Philippines,” he said. Emperor Executive General Manager: Exploration and New Business, Malcolm Norris said he believes the confirmation of results from previous explorers and the indication of a gold-silver oxide zone overlying a gold-copper+/-silver zone in a highly brecciate 'high supplication' system is highly encouraging. “Emperor has commissioned a second drilling rig, which is currently being mobilised to the area and will commence additional drilling in early February,” Mr Norris said. “The new drilling rig will have greater depth capacity than the current rig and will continue its drilling program at greater depths to further determine the geometry and depth extent of this impressive new gold-silver-copper system,” he said.
