According to report of public communication of Mineral Exploration and Geology Organization of the Country, 14^th conference of Iran geology society and 28^th conference of earth science in country started to work.

Based on this report, these conference is representing by axises of petrology, hydrology, geochemistry, geophysic, geotourism, petroleum geology, economical geology, engineering geology, Orumieh lake geology, sedimentology and sedimentary petrology, environmental geology and medicine geology, stratigraphy and fossil, Quaternary geology, structural geology, tectonic and seismotectonic and telemetry and GIS in earth science.

Dr. Ashuri, head of Iran geology society reminds by explanation of this matter that mentioned conference has been represented for coming true of aims in geology department of the country: luckily, fossil and paleontology society and economical geology society became out from heart of geology society of Iran.
