Following great cooperation between Supreme Mine Council and Geological Survey of Iran (GSI), it is declared: Exploration License of GSI would be put up on public auction

Dr. Raziyeh Lak, Deputy Minister & Director General of the GSI, stated that availability of mentioned area for investors, mining communities and industrial sectors is seen as important step for developing and thriving mines in country.

Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine & Trade stated that following great cooperation between Supreme Mine Council and GSI, GSI get permission to put on auction 16 areas that had been obtained Exploration License. This resources include Gold, Antimony, Potash and Rare Earth Elements. Additionally, it is worth to mention that this area is located in West Azarbaijan, Razavi Khorasan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Sistan and Balochestan, Hormozgan and Yazd, consequently mining development would ease worries in mentioned provinces about supply of industrial units.
