TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- Thirty artists put a number of their works on sale here on Saturday in an exhibition to raise funds for the establishment of a hospital as well as a center for children and young adults in the earthquake-stricken city of Bam, Kerman Province, the German daily Berliner Zeitung announced. Iranian painter Kani Alavi and several German artists will be participating in the exhibition which closes on March 18. A devastating earthquake hit Bam on <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />December 26, 2003, leaving over 40,000 people dead. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
