Dr. Ghoreyshi, head of earth sciences researching institute, in a TV interview in INN said: it seems that Baladeh fault is young and no forecast is possible till more certain researches. By the way, earthquake in this region is possible but with attention to geotechnical matters, prediction of return periods is impossible. Dr. Ghoreyshi urged vast influence of earthquake may be related to several matters like; depth, magnitude or other ones, for example, roudbar earthquake had 18km depth and received in 600000km².Iran has shalow earthquake, because of its young crust and Alborz earthquakes depths are between 18-20km, Baladeh earthquake depth has been estimated between 26-28km. Head of the earth sciences researching institute said: Iran in situated on Alp-Himalaya belt and has various active fault. In addition there is some hidden faults which are more dangerous because of lack of information, we don't know where are them and when do they want to be active. He said, with consideration of state of Iran seismicity, all of us must be alert and have familarity to earthquake culture, structural considerations and public training. He emphasized, he can't realize any relation between Baledeh earthquake caused faults and minatory faults of Tehran. He Invited people to be calm and desired that little by little every thing be changed to common.
