Mild earthquake measuring 3.6 degrees on the Richter scale hit suburbs of the ancient, Quake-stricken city of Bam in southeastern Kerman province Wednesday morning. Kerman's seismological base affiliated to the geophysics institute of Tehran University recorded the temblor at 06:07 hours local time (01:37 GMT). The base located the epicenter of the quake at an area 29.15 degrees in latitude and 58.18 degrees in longitude. There were no immediate reports of any possible damage.
