Quake hits southeastern town of Nikshahr

An earthquake measuring 4.5 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale hit the town of Nikshahr in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan on Tuesday.
 An earthquake measuring 4.5 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale hit the town of Nikshahr in the southeastern
   province of Sistan and Baluchestan on Tuesday.  According to the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute, affiliated to Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 07:00 hour  local time (0230 GMT).
   There were no immediate reports of any casualty or damage to property.
   Iran is situated on some of the world`s most active seismic fault   lines and quakes of varying magnitudes are of usual occurrence.
