The expenses of mining activities in Iran are much less than North America. In fact, the cost of open pit mining and processing in Iran is 62% of North America. Minerals business is an international trade. For example, it is impossible to
produce copper in Iran and does not consider the copper mining business in other parts of the world.
In today world, investors look at the costs of a mining project, and therefore they prefer to make the most of a mining plan through lower expenses. Security of investment is also a very important factor for foreign investment. If governments of countries do not produce a secure environment for foreign investment due to political reasons, it is quite clear that no mining investor prefers to participate in this economic plan. Stability and being away from tensions
make a country very suitable for investment. In Iran, this point plus lower costs are aatractive to foreigners. Lower expenses are because of the availability of cheap staff and lower costs of mining. Environmental issues must be seriously considered in mining activities.
