8th rank of Yazd province in Iran's mineral exploration activities

Yazd province has achieved 8th rank in industrial and mining development plan of the province and also investment of private sector in civil programs. With regard to the guidelines and policies of strategic plans in mining evelopment and in order to promote human and cultural development indexes, the following plans were prepared;
   -Development of high quality and new services in Yazd province via national and supranational processes.
   -Development of business plans at regional, national and supranational levels.
   -Enhancement of Yazd province infrastructure networks and at last;
   -Enhancement of proficiency and technology in relation to the important activities of the province.
   Explorational and mineral activities of the province includes;
   -Recording the boundaries
   -Issuance of exploration permits and certificates
   -Presentation of banking facilities and
   -General supervision on mining affairs in accordance with the laws and regulations.
   190 exploration permits were issued in Yazd province.
   Total number of mines in Iran is 3397. Out of these mines, 190 mines are in this province. In fact, 5.5% of all mines in Iran are in this location. Entrepreneurship has been executed very nice in this
   province, therefore, 81282 persons have been employed. It is a great success for the region.
   The definite reserve of Iran is 6.5 billion tons. Out of this amount, 1.9 billion tons is in Yazd province.
  
   Due to all of these successes, Yazd has gained the 8th rank in mining activities of Iran.
