383000 ton of decorative stones were exported during the first 9 months of the current Iranian year

During the first 9 months of the current Iranian year (started March 2004 up to the end of 2004), 383000 ton of decorative stones were exported indicating 2.25% increase in comparison to last year.

 During the first 9 months of the current Iranian year (started March 2004 up to the end of 2004), 383000 ton of decorative stones were exported indicating 2.25% increase in comparison to last year. The value of this amount of decorative stone has been 47 million dollars. It indicates 13.8% increase in comparison to the same period of time in last year. Out of this amount of stone, 311000 ton was raw (81.2%) and 72000 ton includes wrought stones (18.8%). In fact, 52.7%
   of raw stones and 47.3% of wrought stones indicate the total value of decorative stones. The value of each ton of wrought stone is four times more than raw stones. Exportation of raw stones indicates 35% growth from value and 0.5% from weight point of view. Exportation of wrought stones also indicates 3.1% decrease from value and 17.7% increase from weight point of view.
